Dear Karen,

I was waiting to hear, and I am so sorry I never had the chance to meet your much loved sister. But Karen, reading your comments in the guest book told me everything that was important about her life: she made a difference and influenced lovingly and positively her family, and those whose way she crossed. And in the end, isn't that what we all hope to do? God bless you dear, and I know that even in your heartache, this Christmas will bring smiles and laughter with your grandchildren around you. Love and many, many wishes for comfort are sent to you, and to Tara. Love,

My precious precious Monica. How to I begin to thank you for all the joy and love you have brought to us? Growing up with you was an honor that we will never forget. Your sense of humor, your beautiful laughter and your love of everyone you met is a lifetime of memories. You made friends with everyone you met and they will have fond memories of picnics, birthday parties, hitting balloons across the room and helping the kids open their presents. You always wanted to be "first to know" about anything, and Christmas will always be extra special to us now because you made it heaven first! Please give Dad and Mom and Kevin and Noreen a big hug and kiss for us. We will miss you terribly but will take comfort in the compassion and unconditional love that you have shown us. Tara and I will always celebrate our January birthdays with you! Much love, your big sister Karen
