Formerly of San Francisco, late of Millbrae and San Mateo County resident for 19 years, entered into rest peacefully at home on February 24, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Mario Grelli. Loving mother of Oreste Grelli (his wife Rosemarie) and Maria Brice Grelli. Devoted daughter of the late Oreste and the late Maria Sciamanna. Dear sister of Maria Benedetti, the late Vince Sciamanna and the late Flora Smeraldi. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Daniel, Stephanie, Gina, Jason, Julianna along with great grandchildren Jackson and Connor, including her nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
A native of Frontone, Italy, age 97 years.
Emigrated to the U.S. with her husband and son from Italy in 1952 to start a new life and raise their family. She was known for her love of gardening, cooking, and entertaining for her family and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Monday, March 7, 2022 after 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS, El Camino Real at 194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae. Celebration of the Funeral Mass will follow at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Following Mass Committal will be at the Italian Cemetery in Colma.
Her family appreciates donations in her memory to Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Burlingame, or to the charity of your choice.
