Nicholas Stergion Obituary

Nicholas Steve Stergion

March 11, 1924 - November 20, 2018

Nick passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2018 at age 94. Devoted husband to Katherine and father to Steve (Connie), Angie (Peter), and John (Angela); loving papou of Olivia, Christine, Nicole, Nicholas, Jason, and Trish; proud great grandfather of eight.
Nick was a World War II Army Veteran, and was shot on the first day in battle. After he returned home, his long-time friend, Angeliki, arranged for him to marry her niece from Greece. He and Katherine were married for 72 years.
Nick worked as a service advisor for Oldsmobile before becoming a U.S. Marshall. He was a faithful Greek Orthodox Christian. The word 'no' was not in Nick's vocabulary. He had a belly laugh that was contagious.
Trisaigon - Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 7:00pm. Funeral - Friday at 11:15 a.m. Both celebrations at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 999 Brotherhood Way, San Francisco. Interment Greek Orthodox Memorial Park Cemetery.
