Mr. Bischof was a great calculus teacher and had an understanding of philosophy too. His explanation of epistemology to me in one of our afternoon meetings in his office gave me a lifelong interest in this and a world of other ideas he told me about. I was very sorry to hear he had passed away.

My condolences to the family. Professor Bischof was my favorite teacher at Merritt. He inspired me with a love of logic and philosophy. The world certainly has lost a noble gentleman.
