Oreste Landi Obituary
Oreste worked for San Francisco MUNI for 22 years. He always kept busy doing what he loved, carpentry. He was a master in everything that he did. He was a proud member of the Assoc. Lucchesi Nel Mondo, the Marche Club of San Francisco and the Italian American Athletic Club in North Beach.
Oreste passed away on November 22, 2014. He is now at peace. Oreste will surely be missed by all his family and friends.
Friends may visit on Tuesday, November 25 after 5PM and are invited to attend a Vigil Service also on Tuesday at 7PM at the chapels of Valente Marini Perata and Co., 4840 Mission St., SF. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 26 at 10:30AM at Immaculate Conception Chapel, 3255 Folsom St., SF. Committal to follow at the Italian Cemetery.

i am very sorry to see this in the paper this evening, and not earlier. i knew Rusty and his wife for over 20 years living here on Chicago way. He and I would speak of Italy and chat all the time, i so sorry to learn of his passing. RIP Rusty you will certainly be missed by many on South Hillblvd. Denise Garrintano Fisher.

My condolences to Orestes family. A fellow MUNI employee that helped me learn the ropes of driving a MUNI bus. I remember when I worked the 43 Masonic and would sit in front of his house when he was outside chatting with him on my layovers. He will be greatly missed.
