Pamela Judd Obituary

Pamela K. Judd

Nov 26, 1952 - Sept 25, 2018

Pamela K. Judd, age 65 of San Francisco, CA, passed away on 9/25/2018 as a result of her 20 year courageous battle with breast cancer.

Pam was an inspiration to many, whether it was due to her tireless work with the Susan G Komen Foundation or her career with Levi Strauss.

She began her career with Levi's as a receptionist in the Florence, Ky Distribution Center and rose to the level of National Sales Director in her 40 year career with the company. These co-workers became her extended family.

While with Levi's Pam began to co-ordinate a company team to participate in the Race for the Cure. This effort lead to her being asked to serve on the board of the San Francisco Komen affiliate. She lead this organization as their President for a period of time.

Pam was predeceased by her father, Morris Judd, and step-father, Roger Sullivan.

She is survived by her mother, Rachel Sullivan, brother Fred (Jo Ann), sister Melinda Phillips (Lex), niece Andrea Frisk (Jay), nephew Jason Shearer (Kim), great nieces Mary Clare and Sophia Frisk and Mila and Stella Shearer and godchildren Ian Amburgey and Samantha Wender as well as a host of many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, Pam asked that you make a donation to either Susan G Komen or the Levi's Red Tab Foundation at 1155 Battery St. LS7, SF, CA 94111 in her memory.

Pam has affected many people with her kindness and generosity. It may have been through mentoring or her passion for arranging vacations for friends and family to meet and enjoy each other's company.

I don't know where to begin. Pam came into My life in 1980 when She moved to Marblehead ma. and she never left. Pam Was an inspiration to Me as well as a truly wonderful friend. I was unhappy when She moved away but She never left Me. We were always in touch. She was an incredible woman whose likes are very rare. Her warm and loving spirit IS impossible to replace. Rest in peace Pam...You will never be forgotten..

So sorry to hear of Pam's passing. I had the privilege to work with her at Levi Strauss & Co. in the late 1990s and she taught me a lot about the jeans business, love and life. She hosted the loveliest going away dinner for me when I left the company, always gracious and generous. My condolences to her family and friends, and sorry that the world has lost Pam's bright light.

Pam never gave up. She fought until the end and was still so kind and upbeat in spite of what she was going through. She was such a wonderful, kind and thoughtful friend. She is in a much better place and not suffering any more. We will miss you. God Speed Pam.

I am very sorry to see that Pam has passed. I remember her from the old days in Louisville at J.B. Atkinson Elementary, Pleasure Ridge Park High School and at Eastern Kentucky University. She was a very lovely and talented person. May God's comfort be with all of you.

Pam was smart, beautiful, funny and kind. She was a terrific boss and a great mentor. No one was more patient and collected in stressful times. I am heartbroken that I will not hear her sweet southern lilt on my phone for my birthday or Christmas or for no reason at all. She was an absolute pearl. ❤
