Patricia Ritchie Obituary
Pat spent many years as a grocer and was the co-owner of the Food Circus Market once located at the corner of Van Ness and Clay. She greatly enjoyed interacting with her regular customers. Pat went on to study early childhood education and became a teacher's aide for special education preschool classrooms in the San Francisco Unified School District. Her life was truly enriched by her students and colleagues.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 6:00 pm at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Coming Home Hospice, 115 Diamond St., San Francisco, CA 94114.

Pat was one my best friends in Jr. High school and High School. She was a terrific friend. There was a group of us that palled around together...that was when she met Ozzie. The gals were the other Pat (Kennedy) and the other Debbie (Gotchet.) Pat and I were also pregnant together with both of our second children, her son Steven and my daughter Jennifer. All of our children also shared the same Pediatrician...Dr. Alfred J. Fisher whom Pat recommended to me...he was Tina´s Dr. first.
I think of my dear friend of the past often.

We are so sorry to hear of the death of your Mom. Her laugh was infectious. the last time my brother Mike and I each saw her she was so vibrant and had a deep love for the Lord. We will always remember her love for you both and no doubt her prayers continue from those heavenly places. We know your loss is deep and pray God's special comfort during your time of grieving. Dear Tina and Steven,
I was one of your moms best friends in Junior High, High and for a few years after that. We lost contact over the years. I have been thinking about your mom very much over the past few weeks and even had a dream with her in it. I was surprised to hear she passed away during my deep time of reflection of our very dear friendship. I remember you both when you were born and little. Your mom and dad were awesome people and a great couple. My prayers are with you both during this very sad time. May you both find comfort during this time of loss in the arms of our Lord.
