Patrick Kelly Obituary
September 9, 1962 – August 17, 2016
A native San Franciscan, long time resident of Daly City and Novato Patrick passed from this world on August 17, 2016 from Pancreatic Cancer.He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Rina Kelly.Survived by his wife Susan Maloney Kelly, three children, Collin, Sean and Tyler. His brother Chris, sister in law Lisa, nieces Alessandra and Micaela
Patrick graduated from Archbishop Riordan High School and College of San Mateo. He worked in the wholesale food industry for over 30 years. As the Western Director of Sales for Kronos Food he led the organization in year over year growth. Patrick was passionate about the Food Industry, the people and the company he worked for.
He loved to travel and experience everything each country had to offer. His love for the sea made cursing a favorite vacation pastime.
Patrick had a zest for life, the community he lived in and the people he met along the way. He was always smiling, offering advice and or his latest joke always in a gregarious manner. He never met a person he did not want to talk to and hear their story. He was very generous with his love and his time which made him truly a remarkable person.
He had a lifelong love of Rugby, playing for the San Francisco Olympic Club and then coaching the Marin Highlanders. His family, music, sports and his beloved lab Shelby made Patrick a very happy man.
He will be greatly missed by all.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Cecilia's Church Thursday August 25, 2016 3:30pm, 255 17th Avenue, San Francisco CA 94116.
