I remember Uncle Pat most in his youth when I was only a child. He used to come visit us from time to time when we were living in Fremont and later when we had moved to Half Moon Bay. I fondly remember the Christmases when we would go over to San Francisco to spend the day with all my Lucey cousins. My mother, Mary (his sister) told me a story when they were children. My uncle "woke up" one night and walked around the house rearranging all the furniture. The next morning he remembered nothing of it. So, apparently he had been sleep walking. My uncle was always kind and he had a great smile. I will never forget that about him. I just learned this coming here today, Patrick's birthday and my mother's are the same (March 15th). Thank you dear uncle for all the love you shared with me, my mother, my father, my brothers and my sister.

I will miss my Uncle and Godfather so much. He was a true gentleman and the kindest person you will ever meet. We are all better for having known him and the world is less bright without him.
I love you and miss you Uncle Pat.

I'll miss my Uncle Pat very much. He was always so thoughtful and kind. A loyal and caring friend. The world has lost a great man - one of a kind.
Eternal Peace for a life well-lived.

I worked with Pat at the Sheriff's Office in City Hall many years ago. Seeing his obituary brought back many great memories of a lovely man with a great sense of humor and a lovely co-worker. May you rest in peace Pat. God bless.
