Patrick McNicholas

Patrick McNicholas Passed away a few weeks shy of his 63rd birthday. He was a native and lifelong resident of San Francisco, graduating from St. Paul's Grammar School and Mission High School, class of 1966. His many interests included photography and most sports. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers and enjoyed playing sports with his friends in "The Day Street Boys". For many years he traveled the world as a Merchant Seaman and on his 1st crossing, in Seaman's tradition, he steered the ship across the equator. He worked for the Local 510 Sign and Display Union until his heath limited his activity. He will be remembered by his family including Sue, John and Bart Whelton, Chris McNicholas, Mary McNicholas, the Kuhns and Canatella families and his former wife, Eva. He joins other family who passed before him including his parents Mary and Charles and stepmother, Laverna. Friends and family are invited to a Catholic Memorial Service at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY 500 Westlake Avenue Daly City on Tuesday January 4 at 11am. A private interment is planned. The family wants to thank the staffs of UCSF and Laguna Honda Hospitals for their compassionate care over several years. In lieu of flowers please contribute to your favorite Charity.
