Paul Negulescu Obituary
September 7, 1924 - December 3, 2022
Dr. Paul Negulescu M.D, a long-time San Francisco resident, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at age 98. He is survived by his beloved wife Ingrid Arden, DDS. two sons: Paul A. Negulescu (Debbie) of Delmar, CA and Peter N. Negulescu (Kristin) of San Francisco, CA, and five grandchildren: Paul, Alexander, Natalie, Nicholas and Liliana.
Born In Romania, Paul immigrated to the United States after World War II where he received his medical degree from George Washington University. After serving in the US Army during the Korean War, he and his first wife, Sanda, who preceded him in death in 1999, moved to San Francisco. After completing his surgical residency at UCSF, Paul practiced in San Francisco and Daly City for nearly four decades and held the position of Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Seton Medical Center for many years. He was a dedicated and tireless physician who touched the lives of so many patients who, to this day, recall the compassion and care he provided.
Paul will be remembered as a man of real class: intellectual, cultured, a distinguished gentleman with a kind heart, generous nature and a wonderful sense of humor. He had a life-long love of skiing and spending time in the mountains and enjoyed extensive travel in his later life.

My condolences, I never met Dr. Negulescu , but I know he was an important man. I had a couple week stint in Mary's Help (aka Seton) as a kid and they where constantly paging him by name over the P.A. system, so the name has stayed with me ever since. R.I.P. Doctor I think you earned it ...
