Retired Superior Court Judge Perker L. Meeks Jr. passed away in the City and County of San Francisco on Friday, October 24, 2025.
He is survived by his two children, Perker L. Meeks III, (Alexis Delsid-Meeks) and Alicia Nicole Meeks Hunter (Todd Hunter) and his grandchildren; Stella Justice Delsid-Meeks, Miles Xavier Lee Hunter, and Mali Reid Hunter.
Friends are invited to pay respects on Friday, October 31st from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at DUGGAN'S FUNERAL SERVICE – THE DUGGAN WELCH FAMILY 3434 – 17th Street in San Francisco and are also invited to attend the services on Saturday, November 1st at 1:00 pm, also at Duggan's Funeral Service.
Family services and his burial are to take place in his hometown of Tallahassee, Florida.

Judge Meeks was an awesomely wonderful person in ALL of the environments where he was observed in the community, church, court, and with FAMILY, and Friends. He encouraged me to pursue my law degree; he swore me as an attorney in his chambers when I passed the Bar. His support to the community is truly historical and should be documented and a required reading for students. Thank you Judge Meeks.

A well respected judge with a great sense of humor. Justice was with a long stern warning or a harsh sentence either way it ended with a smile and a "I hope to not see in my courtroom again". Rest In Peace Sir.
