Peter Beltrano Obituary
August 24, 1940 - October 4, 2023
Passed away peacefully at home on October 4, 2023, at the age of 83. Born the second of four children (Diane, Nick, Steve) of Peter and Florence Beltrano. Devoted husband to Judy, his Babe, and loving father to Michael (Michelle), Gina (Chris), and Katie. Proud grandfather of Max, Cody, JT and Nathan. Survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and large Italian family. Beloved son-in-law of William and Jean (Gilmour) Hamlet, deceased.
A San Francisco native, Pete graduated from Sacred Heart ('58) and Golden Gate University. Pete married Judy Hamlet in San Francisco in 1966. They lived in San Francisco, Daly City and 40 years in San Bruno.
As a public servant (US Army Civilian), Pete worked at the Presidio, Oakland Army Base and Fort Eustis, VA. He was an Asst. Scoutmaster, a grammar school coach for his kid's sports teams and volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul, Second Harvest and St. Anthony's.
Pete enjoyed life to the fullest. He was an avid sports fan of the 49ers, Giants and Warriors and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. He enjoyed parades, especially the 4th of July parade and fireworks in Calistoga. Some of his fondest times were spent in Calistoga. Pete and Judy cherished traveling with friends and family to Giants Spring Training, Apple Farm in San Luis Obispo, Napa Valley Bothe State Park, Camp Mather, Lake Tahoe and enjoyed many ocean and inland cruises.
Pete will be greatly missed by all. He was a happy, outgoing person and put others' needs above his own – always wanting others to have a good time.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 28th at 1:30 pm – St. Robert's Church (1380 Crystal Springs Road, San Bruno).
Donations may be made in memory of Pete to your favorite charity. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Please send flowers, if you wish, to St. Robert's Church Saturday, October 28th from 12 to 1pm.

Miss you brother-in-law. Remembering so many years of enjoyment at our family picnics and when at our Nephew Russell's home, as we watched little Diane play as an infant. You reached for my hand, and we sat there watching our family together. Will always cherish that time with you by your bed, two days before you passed. I have felt your presence much since you passed. Love Lynn
