It is with great sadness that Peter was taken from us very suddenly on January 9th, 2015.Peter was born in San Francisco and has been a resident of Marin County since the age of seven. For 24 years, Peter worked for his father at The Tailored Man in San Francisco at Union Square as a clothing buyer. In 2007 he became a Partner at The San Francisco Pasta Company in Hayward working alongside his brother-in-law John Personeni His father-in-law Joseph Personeni and his uncle Frank Antonini. He was an avid sportsmen, fishing and hunting with his labradors of many years. He enjoyed coaching his three children in baseball and softball since they were in preschool. Peter loved boating in North Shore of Lake Tahoe every summer with his wife and Children. His favorite places were Lake Tahoe and his beautiful vineyard and ranch owned with his family in Glen Ellen. Peter was the founder of the Men's Club at St. Patrick School in Larkspur where he was known for cooking many wonderful dinners. Peter was a kind, giving man, a gentleman in every way. Missing him greatly is his wife Christine; children, Peter, Joseph, Talia and Nicholas; Father, Peter Domenici Sr. and predeceased by his mother Marilyn K.Wanless; siblings, Marilyn Knudsen (Ron), Leah Domenici, Christina Gimondo and Laurine Domenici; Father-in-law, Joseph Personeni (Adele) and Mother-in-law, Shirley Stuart; Brother-in-law's, John Personeni (Kathy) and Joseph Personeni (Jenise); and many more loving family members and friends. The funeral Mass is 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Larkspur. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.

Dear Peter,
I was just told of "Jr.s" passing by Sid, the buyer
at Arthur Beren whom I sat next to at lunch today. I couldn't believe my ears, & can't even imagine how you must feel. I'm so very saddened to hear this terrible news. I had so much fun working with him at your store, & having him help me with the computer, new to me in those days! Also, we shared things about Corte Madera, where my youngest daughter, & her family live.
My heart goes out to you, & his wife, & children.
I would have sent you a personal note, but don't have your address.
I miss seeing you either at Vasco, or Gene Hiller,
I haven't been to either for a very long time.

We at the St. Patrick's Men's Club are deeply saddened to hear of Peter's passing. We will remember his dedication and huge contributions to the Men's Club as a fellow St. Pat's Dad and friend.

Dearest Chris, Peter, Talia and Nick -- we had too little of Peter in our lives and yet find amazing memories from St. Pat's School and Men's Club, Twin Cities Little League, CYO and so many fun Halloween's with your family. To me, Peter exemplified what a true gentleman should be. He was forever kind and giving, always "family first" and had a passion for the things in his life that created that amazing smile and twinkle in his eyes. An outdoorsman and rancher on one hand and yet impeccably dressed for the evening -- a true original. We are lucky to have had Peter in our lives and deeply mourn his passing. Our prayers are with you all -- God bless you as you celebrate his amazing spirit.

Dearest Chris, Nick, Talia and Peter.
My heart warmed with fond memories and pride as my eyes dimmed with tears when I read this beautiful remembrance of Peter. Pride for the honor of being a part of the St. Pat's Men's Club which he and Pat built from scratch, pride for calling him my friend and tears knowing that I won't be able to hunt the fields or laugh about Men's Club high jinks with him ever again. Sadly, as our hearts weep for the loss of Peter, Suzanne and I cannot be with you all this Friday. We will be in Denver for a wedding. On Friday at 10am I will raise a toast for one of the biggest hearted, most sincere, endlessly giving, terribly lovable and all around nicest, sweetest men I have ever known. I hope I'll get the chance to share a tale and a tear with a gathering of friends another time. For now...
