July 7, 2013

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2013. Primo was preceded in death by his parents, Linda and Louis Repetto, and by his loving wife Naomi after 40 years of marriage. He is survived by his loving children Denise Branch (John), Carla Webster (Robert) and Marisa Riparbelli (David). He was the proud Nonno of Megan Rathgeb (Cristian), Jacob Branch (Megan Medvitz), Alana Riparbelli and Bria Riparbelli; adoring Bisnonno of Joaquin Rathgeb, Noemi Rathgeb, Judah Branch and Octavia Branch. He was the devoted friend and companion of Aida Pellegrini.

Primo was a proud native San Franciscan. During WW II Primo served his country in the US Army. He was stationed in Germany, France and Belgium and was honorably discharged after the war. He was the manager of the Golden Gate Produce Terminal in South San Francisco from its founding in 1962 to the present. He also was a conscientious commercial and residential real estate broker for over 50 years. He was a proud member of the Olympic Club and past member of the North Beach Lions Club.

We would like to acknowledge the care provided by Dr. James Davis. The family is especially grateful to his caregivers Meki and Alberto, for their devoted care during this last year.

A private interment was held. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 666 Filbert Street, SF.

Many people are trying to get to a place they enjoy, instead of enjoying where they are.

I dedicate this to my former boss & friend, Mr. Primo Repetto. He lived a full life & respected by thousands here
& abroad.

I worked for him for a short amount of time in the mid-80's. I was an idiot. He was patient enough before he terminated me. I deserved it. I remember him telling me, "Someday in the future you will thank me for this." He was right & I wrote a letter to him a few years ago thanking him for firing me & the why. Primo was a special man.

I will never forget you Primo. You treated all of us as ohana (family) & that is what made you special. Na ke Akua (God bless you) my dear, dear boss & friend.

I never met you Denise, Carla & Marissa but he spoke highly of you three with a gleem in his eyes.

I am so very sorry for your loss.

Have a blessed day, Bob & Stacey Ruiz

Dear Carla
Although it has been a long time since we talked, I opened the SF Chronicle today by chance and saw the news of your father's passing. It brought back so many memories of our early years in San Francisco and your devotion to your family. Please accept our deepest sympathies for you and Denise and Marisa.

Rest in peace, Mr Repetto.

Dear Repetto and Branch families,
I just want to offer my prayers for your family loss. I met Primo many years ago while I was Vice-President of the Daly City Host Lions..Quite an extraordinary man. By the way, if this is Mrs. Denise Branch that taught 7th grade at Our Lady of Perpetual Help - this is your Andy..I think of you often with love and admiration always.
