My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Ennis. Dr. Ennis was my dentist for 30 years. Although I am 58 years young, my teeth are perfect thanks to Dr. Ennis' expert touch and brilliant mind. I will miss his World War II stories and our discussions on such things as achieving a good golf swing. Thank you Dr. Ennis - always . . .

To the Ennis Family,

Dr. Ennis was my dentist ever since I was a baby. He was my mother's dentist, and when I was born, he became mine. I always liked him - during my visits he would call me "Baby Marinas", and lecture me on the importance of a solid education, and scoff at my nose ring that I got when I turned 20. I am saddened because he was more than just my dentist, he was a sweet man and someone I could call a friend. I will miss him greatly. My thoughts are with you.

Oh, Snooky... It has been 40 yrs since we've seen you & Jerry, but we talked on the phone once in a while. We had no idea that he was ill again. There aren't very many of the old gang left (USF & SRI), and whomever thought up that old saw about getting better with age, like an old wine, was way too young to have known a darned thing. Our thoughts are with you.

December 26, 2006

Dear Ennis Family,

On behalf of the Rodoni family, please allow me to express our deepest sympathies and condolences on the passing of your father/grandfather/etc. Because he was my dentist, I grew up seeing Dr. Ennis 2-3 times a year and each time was a pleasure (not many people can say that about visiting the dentist!!!!). He was one of the most ethical and kind people that I have encountered in my 36 years and I feel blessed to have had him involved in my life. You should all be very proud to be related to such a great man. He loved you dearly and could never talk enough about how happy his family made him or how important all of you were to his life. While his passing is much too early, I know that all of us are better people because we knew him. He was a role model and a gentlemen and he definitely made this world a better place.

May you find strength in this difficult time and know that you will be in our family's prayers during this holiday season and beyond.
