Just to let you know aunt ann passed away yesterday so look for her. You called her the prettiest girl in Wisconsin. She made it to 103 years old . she would have gotten a kick out of that.. her birthday was jan 13 love joanne

Hi honey, I hope you are with me tonight.
Hanna died this afternoon. I tried to save her so many times. I talked to her this afternoon at the special hospital where I took her yesterday. She was so sick and I told her she could go to kitty heaven. I also told her you and Jodie were waiting for her. Her diabetes got the best of her after two years. I am looking at the pictures of us when she was small and we were all so happy. I hope we can all be together again,, You , me, Misty, Hanna and all of our dogs.. I look forward for that day.. Love you.

I had a great birthday. The big 80..
The kids got me a 37" flat screen TV. That will be nice.
Went to a movie by myself as my lunch date got postponed but I did tag along with Ben , Barbara and Lauren for pizza at night..
Due for a mammogram next monday...I am sure it will be okay as the last one was excellent.

Hi Grampa!
Long time no talk to huh? I have been so busy lately with work, that I have hardly found time to keep up with telling you about everything. You prob already know, but Tori is having a girl. We all thought it was a boy, but she had her first ultrasound to tell her the sex and it's a girl. Another girl in the family! LOL!! Like we don't have enough already. Jordan is getting bigger too. I call her my little chunk monkey because boy can she eat!! She's been slowly gaining weight, but she looks so nice and healthy now. And she is def spoiled by mom. You should have seen mom go on about how she was too young to be a gramma and now she's all happy to be one. =) But that's her right? The truck is doing well. Big as ever. I'm just starting to realize how big it really is though. Everyone tells me they love my truck, but then they have to say just how big it is. I love being so high up too. I can see over everyone! It's a nice change, especially because I'm so short. LOL.
JP and I are finally moving forward in our relationship too. After all this time together and then being broken up for a couple months, he has come to the conclusion that it's time he grew up. I'm of course totally happy and ready for it. I haven't got the ring yet, but he says we're getting married and he even sat down with me and made a date (Jan 8, 2011) and he's making plans with me and looking at places so he must be serious (he better be serious).
I'm going to France too with Auntie Barbara and the girls and Auntie Net and Uncle Ben. I'm really looking forward to it. I know it will be a lot of fun out there. I will of course miss JP and Princess (I haven't figured out who is going to take care of her yet tho). But it is good for me to travel while I still can. I really want to go to Greece next year too so I'm going to be on a tight budget for the next few years! I've got a lot to pay for!
Anyway, I should prob get back to work. I've been slacking off all morning and I'm really behind in my work. I love you!

Its three years today my heart was broken.
I know you got a wish that you would go first, but its still hard..
Jordan is home with mommy and daddy.
I'm happy about that. The room at Kaiser was so small, not hardly room for mommy, let alone a visitor.
Trying to think of where to go to lunch. Will pick one of our favorite fast food spots. ha.
Rainy weather is still with us here.

Went to the cemetary the other day.
Timmy has a new headstone for the family plot. You know he is with his mother , father and sister.
The old one was okay but the new one was done for his birthday jan 11 so his kids must have gotten the new one.
Too bad you can't get a new one over by you. That would be nice.
Eddie came over Friday with Duke his german shepard .. wow what a gorgeous dog, and a real nice one too. Has German blood I understand.
Of course, I think he favors his Yorkie, Jack.
Going to the show today and see The Wrestler. I like to see the ones that will be nominated for oscars as you know.

Hi Grampa!
I see Gramma told you about my new truck. Yes, I feel so much safer in it. Plus, I can see over everyone else, and people move out of the way when you want to switch lanes. So much better than having a small car! The gas isn't that bad either. $75 to fill up and it lasts me 2 weeks. Mind you though, the payments are quite high. But I'm hoping to refinance in a year and get the payments a little lower. Only one can hope.
I miss you. Just last night after leaving mom's house you just popped into my head during a Dean Martin song and I started to tear up a little. I can't believe you've been gone this long. It doesn't seem like it. It seems like it's been shorter in time.
Mom keeps saying I should move in with Gramma. I think about it quite often. I hate the fact that she's by herself all the time. Makes me a bit nervous really. JP said he would understand if I decided to move out, but I think he would be hurt really. But the thought of moving in with Gramma pops into my head at least once a week. That way I can take care of her and keep her company at night. I know she gets lonely without you there.
Mom's going to be a gramma! Luke finally got married in August. Natalie found out she was pregnant about a month and a half before the wedding. We're all excited. I've already gone shopping and bought the baby some little booties, blankets, and one-zies. I hope it's a girl so I can turn her into a little princess, but I think Natalie wants it to be a boy. Either way she'll be happy.
Well, I should let you go. I'm at work and everyone keeps walking past my desk! Plus, I just talked your ear off. :)

Sent Dan Murphy an obituary today of one of your colleagues... Don't send too many to him anymore.They must be all with you or most of them.Finished the baby blanket for our neighbors on 28th ave. she's having their third in sept.
Got a black dress for Lukes wedding.

For some reason, i have been thinking about you a lot. Not too sure why; you haven't come to see me in awhile.
Your birthday is coming up. Maybe that's why I've been thinking about you so much.
Not sure if I told you yet, but I have made my decision to get a Chevy Silverado. I haven't decided what year, but I'm thinking about going for a 2005 or 2006. I'll most likely get it next year. I feel like I'm living a poor man's life right now! LOL!! So it's going to have to wait until I hopefully get a raise at work and am able to save for that, and my Europe trip next year. I'm really excited about going. I am finally able to travel before settling down! I love it!

celebrated his 100th birthday

Aunt Julie died last year at 95.

Hi Grampa! I haven't written to you in so long. I've narrowed my choices, but am still having a hard time making a decision. So I'm torn in between the Lexus IS 250, the GMC Sierra, and the Lexus RX400. Hahahaha! I can never make up my mind.
I'm going to Europe next year too with Auntie Barbara. I'm so excited about that! I have so much to look forward to in my near future. I just wish that I could move closer to Gramma so I can keep her company. I feel like now that I live in the city, I don't get to visit her very often and I miss her a lot. You should see the blanket I'm making! It's getting so long! I'm hoping to finish it by next fall so i can use it to keep me warm. I keep pushing it off to the side, but I have so many little activities going on at the moment, it's hard to rotate them evenly. Usually one dominates over the other, but I'm trying to do one on one day and the other the next day.
Well Grampa, I have to get back to work. I'm lagging today because it's just so beautiful out today and I don't want to do anything, but go outside and play! Love you lots!

Just doing some real estate stuff.
Guess I will have to move on and

The real estate market is full
of short sales now. I am trying

the longshoremen and in love with
his Yorkie dog named Jack.
Linda is still looking for Mr Right.
She is soooo good at painting
and has sold some of her works.
Barbara ( who always has the
door and her heart open to all)
is busy being a mom and
high school history teacher.
Annette ( the CPA) is winding down
her tax season at her office ,which
they made her a small partner of.

Happy Easter!!
Went to the cemetary and did the
flowers for you and Nicky. Lauren
always wants to go visit everyone,
especially the kid section. Thats so
sad there. But I guess God wants
little angels in heaven.
Going to Lindas tomarrow, will miss
you as usual, but I know you will
be there. The last couple years
you weren't moving around too
fast but I do have to give you credit
for hanging in there and joking around
right up to the end. You never gave
up. I think of Mary Peters once in
a while---How she kept us laughing
to the end too------ We went out
two days before she died and had
a good time. Enof reminicsing...

Hi Grampa!
I've been thinking about you lately. I've been trying to decide on what kind of car to get at the end of the year and to be honest, I don't even know what I want any more. At first I wanted to get the Camaro, but then I remembered what you said about me wrapping my self a around pole and so now there is no way I will get one of those. But then I thought about the Lexus IS and I was set on that, but on TV they've been advertising a lot for trucks and I kept telling myself before was that when I get a new car it was going to be a truck. So I started to look at trucks, but then I start thinking about parking at my place, and whether or not it's going to eat a lot of gas, but I really want the GMC Sierra or the Nissan Titan if I get one, and I was looking at both of those last year. I'm a mess!!! I don't know what to get! I'm torn between what to get and I know you would tell me to get the truck because you've always liked trucks and I want one so badly, but at the same time I really want the Lexus. :( What do I do??? I wish you were here so I could actually talk to you face to face and hear you tell me your opinion. I still miss you a lot.
Well I guess I have time to think about what I want to get right? It's not going to happen until the end of the year anyway! I guess I can ask Gramma what she thinks I should do. Well, I love you. I gotta get back to work. Bye.

So you finally decided to say hi after all this time huh? Yes, I passed on the message for you. Even though you had me sweating and in tears when I woke up. :) It's so hard to talk about you without crying. I try not to cry, but I just can't help it. Hey Grampa!! Seems like everyone's coming back to leave comments on your page, here. Well, first of all Happy New Year!! Wasn't the same without you. But Gramma's got a new kitty, Delilah. She's a pest, but I think you would have liked her.:] I've been missing you a lot lately. I miss Christmases at your house with all of the cousins. I miss your voice and your jokes. I was watching my old baby videos and of course you were never IN the picture (cuz we all know you hated that), but everytime I heard your voice it was kind of sad. Hey grandpa, weirdest thing i got a email saying there was a new post on your page... but ive never had that happen in all these months people have been leavin messages. i was talking to god or someone earlier wondering why things happen. billys tires were slashed today and of all people to have that happen to, he never has enemies. some times i feel hopeless, and then think how lucky i really am in many other ways. whenever i think why cant i be with those who have left already, i think it is for a reason. i just miss all you guys, and cant think about you without crying. i guess someday we will know why these things all happen to us, when "earthly matters" dont seem to matter anymore. i love you despite some unanswered questions i have for you. someday youll let me know i suppose. well hope your enjoying your saturday up there, with jodi and mollie.

Hi Grampa!
Happy New Year. I finally moved out of Mom's house and am with JP. He's been in the Philippines though and I've been awfully lonely without him. I now understand what Gramma is going through, but I at least get to talk to JP. We all miss you greatly down here and it's still a touchy subject to some when talking about you. I try not to let it get to me, so I can be there for the others, but sometimes it's really hard to do so. I remember when I was young Mom showed me a tape that you all had recorded of me when I first started talking, and I finally figured out what I was trying to say! Years later I realized that "Jose Jose Dicky Dick" was actually supposed to be "No Way Jose Dicky Dick." I started laughing out loud when I realized what I was trying to say. :) Anyway, I just wanted to say hi to you and wish you a happy new year, since I haven't written to you in at least 6 months. I love you and miss you lots and lots!

Hi Grampa! I haven't talked to you in a long time! I went by and saw you yesterday for your birthday. While there, I also decided to say hi to Nicky and Grandpa Ed. JP even came with me! It was really strange though because all day, everywhere I went I saw a white limo. I must have seen at least 10 yesterday and then right after the last one I saw, I was thinking how strange it was and I looked up and saw a huge banner that said "Nicky." It was so weird. So I've decided that instead of the Camero or the Firebird, I'm going to get a truck. A big truck!! Only its going to be black, not white.
We all really miss you down here. I wish I could talk to you one more time. That way I can tell you how much I love you and how much I really miss you. Hope you and Jodi are doing good. Hope to see you in my dreams again!

Hey Grampa! Happy Birthday! I was thinking about you the other day on the plane ride home. I went to Europe with Mom and Lauren on a student tour! I met some veterans and I thought about your Korean War stories :] I sure do miss you, and I wore my locket with you and Gramma's picture in it almost everyday while I was there.
