I am so saddened to hear about Ricky's death. He was our bookstudy conductor during the 1950's. We met at an elderly sister's house for service and bookstudy (I forget her name). He was always so good with my daughter Helene. We called her "Lanie" then. He knew her from the age of 2. He used to ask how many flowers she picked in service that morning. We all loved him very much, especially my mother Georgia Thomas. He knew me as Barbara Hall. My heart goes out to his family.

I knew Ricky since the mid 1950's and some of us would drive up to San Francisco where Ricky would conduct a Watchtower Study for the young ones. He shared with me through the years some of his heartaches but he was always a faithful brother. I will miss him greatly. One time many years ago he invited myself, Pam, and Roxana up to his house where the girls gave their experiences from their missionary service in Bolivia. We all have a fine time that evening.

I too remember Bro. Dickinson from years ago when I was very very new in the truth in the late 60's. I would see him and his little children at meetings and realized children do have a place at meetings. He was very kind with them. It also encouraged my husband to attend meetings as a family.
Over the years I admired his faithfulness as I would see him and the children at conventions and assemblies and watched as the children grew up over time. He was a good exampe of loyalty to Jehovah. My deepest sympathy to his friends and family.

Uncle Rick was the last of the good men in the world! He was an amazing uncle to me and I adored him. I think Rick helped everyone and anyone that knew him and in my book was a saint. He was not judging and very understanding and a good listener and story teller. His love for his life and family ran deep. I am very sad he has left us on earth and I send my sympathy to everyone and specially his loving wife Lillian. All My Love

I have known Ricky, as we called him, since 1957. He studied with my brother and I when we were children. He was always ready with a laugh and kind words. His personality was what made me think of the personality of what the Christ probably was. Always helpful and loving. We look forward to his coming again in the New World.

Life, like a mist, appears for just a day. Then disappears tomorrow. All that we are can quickly fade away, replaced with tears and sorrow....He will call the dead will answer. My sympathies to Richard's wife & to his children & family. To the hosts of friends, I share your sadness.
