Richard Francis Donovan passed away peacefully on November 29, 2022 at the age of 79.
Beloved husband to Charlene Donovan; loving father of Casey (Renee), Carrie, and Chrissy (Gavin); grandfather to Justin (Jasmine), Tristin, Austin, Adeline, Catie, Michaela, and Kimmie; great grandfather to Vaida and loving brother to Barbara and Maureen (Brian).
Rich attended St. Paul's Grammar School and Riordan High School. From there, he worked at PG&E for over 39 years. Rich was also a reserve in the United States Marine Corps. Rich enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was active with the St. Peter's Men's Club.
Friends may visit Sunday, December 4 at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, where a vigil service will be held at 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 5 at St. Peter's Church, 700 Oddstad Blvd, Pacifica at 11am.
Donations may be made to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Kaiser Hospice Foundation or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

I knew Rich from Capistrano Ave. Rich would organize the street football games, and he would quarterback bother sides. He took great care of his mom, and would come down the street and talk to my dad, usually about how the 49ers were doing. What a great man. He will be missed. John McGill
