RICHARD KAZARIAN Obituary

Richard "Dick" Kazarian Went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 7, 2012 at the age of 90. He passed away peacefully in his home, with his beloved wife Arlene of 65 years by his side. Loving father of Al Kazarian, Carol Hagopian (nee Kazarian) and Susan Kazarian. Adored grandfather of David & Laura Hagopian and Richard Hoggan. Dick graduated from Commerce High School, San Francisco. He joined the Coast Guard and served his country proudly during WWII as a radio operator. He retired, after serving more than 25 years to his beloved city, as a Lieutenant with the S.F. Police Dept. He was an active member of Calvary Armenian Congregational Church & the Knights of Vartan organization. All of his family and friends loved him deeply and he will be missed greatly. Family and friends are invited to attend the Wake service at 7:30pm on Tuesday, July 10th at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, 11am at Calvary Armenian Congregational Church, 725 Brotherhood Way, San Francisco. Burial to follow at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Armenian Congregational Church: Richard & Arlene Kazarian Endowment Fund, 725 Brotherhood Way, San Francisco, CA 94132.

I've known you for just about all my life and you were part of the world around me. You were always a Gentleman and could be counted on for your wise insight. It was always a delight to see you and Arlene. My memories take me back when you were at Kens, passing each other at the Department, inside Homewood Court and at my wedding. The world was a better place because of you Dick and you will be missed.
