I moved to California from the UK in 2013. While down at the local Golf club trying to grab a game - I bumped into a fellow Scotsman and Celtic supporter. After 2 mins chatting we found out we both came from Nitshill and our houses in Nitshill were 500yds apart. We played golf on the 4th of July and he introduced me to the fabulous SFC Celtic Supporters club - That wonderful gentleman was Richard McKenna. From our short time together it was clear he was a true legend and well loved by everyone I met. People like Richard give Scotland (and Celtic!) a great name.
Condolences to Richards wife and entire family

When my wife was first diagnosed with leukemia, Richard got in touch with us right away. Unfortunately he had first hand knowledge of the disease in his family. That year when we made it to the Vegas convention he came over with his nephew to talk to us about what to expect. He was a big help to us at a time when we needed it. For that we will be eternally grateful. We will miss his terrific sense of humor, his big smile which told you that no matter how bad things appeared it would somehow be OK. Richard had a gift that few men possess. We will miss you Big MHAN. In the words of the Celtic Anthem You Will Never Walk Alone
