We remember Dick very fondly from our days together in the Menlo Atherton Democratic Club and in a local discussion group. He was president of the club sometime in the late 60's. Alice babysat the 6 kids for a whole weekend during that era. Our condolences and regards to all Dick's children.

Although it has been more than 35 years since I last spoke with Dick, I have warm memories of him from our days at SRI. His bright mind was matched by his gentle humor and the twinkle in his eye, and having a chance to work with him was a privilege. I am sure that memories of him will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
