Richard R Treadwell (Dick) died of complications related to pancreatic cancer at his home in Ross, California on February 12, 2018 surrounded by his four children and his wife, Patty. His last days were filled with family, music, flowers, and love, befitting the life he had lead. As he had done throughout his life, he again modeled perfectly for us how to approach the end of life – embracing his family and focusing on the positive. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

dear patty and "carp,"
i was saddened to read about richard, yet know that you were all so very fortunate to have had him as a husband and father. i will always remember his smile, chipper attitude and kind words.

Very sad to read about the passing of my friend Dick. For several years we commuted together into the financial district from Ross on the #24. He was engaging, intelligent, and the consummate gentleman. I used to kid him about buying his pristine dark green Porsche and feigned shock and sadness when he advised he had given it to his son. I will say a prayer for you my friend.
