I had the pleasure of meeting Bob freshman year at UD Davis. I lived down the hall from him and we soon became good friends. Sophmore year I was his roomate in an off campus apartment and then we continued our friendship while working in San Francisco. I found Bob to be a guy who had a very difficult time saying or doing anything unpleasant to others. He loved sports and music, worked hard and loved to laugh. He was a standup guy whose friendship I will treasure forever. Won't forget you . . . Bob. God Bless!!

Bob was the best. Worked with him on many projects through the years starting with Monterey Bay Aquarium. Always easy going and a pleasure to work with, while being completely dedicated to the proiect. He and I also shared a favorite retreat spot - Kaanapali Beach Resort on Maui.

Bob and I were seated together on many occasions while students at Giannini ("Ba" then "Bo"). He was unfailingly kind, friendly and loyal -- and great fun to watch when playing soccer at the Beach Chalet fields. Touching to know that he lived a full, overflowing life. Condolences to his family.

Met Bob freshman year at UC Davis in Beckett Hall in Fall of 1970 where we were close friends and played softball together for four years. We were roommates sophomore and junior years. Great student, great friend and great electrical engineer. We were both from the City and the Sunset and bonded although Bob went to Lincoln and I went to Catholic schools. I have great pictures of Bob and Leslie from my wedding. For the whole last year both Jack Feeney and me from UCD were searching for him in Walnut Creek to get together but not successful. I did not even know he was sick. One of best guys I´ve ever known and I´ve known a lot. Rest in peace, Bob
