Robert Fazio Obituary

FAZIO, Robert Thomas, Lt. San Jose Police Dept., Ret. - October 17, 1950 - September 18, 2005 Passed away suddenly while vacationing in Rome, Italy. Loving husband of 30 years to Sharon; adoring and proud father of Leia and Carli; beloved son of Ann and the late Joseph Fazio; devoted and much-loved brother of Bill, Joe, Gina and Joann Fazio and their spouses; doting uncle of many nieces and nephews; son-in-law to Mavis and the late Bill Dickenson; also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins and friends. A dedicated member of the San Jose Police Department, recently retired as a Lieutenant. An avid fisherman, a talented woodworker/furniture designer, a practical joker, an all-around great guy. Bobby, we just can't believe that you are gone from us. We will miss you more than words can say. A memorial mass celebrating Bob's life will be said this Saturday. October 1, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4848 Pearl Ave., San Jose. Gathering to follow, Police Officer's Association (POA) building, 1151 4th St., San Jose. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in Bob's memory to the San Jose Police Chaplaincy Program, 320 North Morrison Ave., San Jose, CA 95126, attention David Bridgen.
