I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Robert Goodwin. I came to him as a patient when I was 12, some 32 years ago and continued in his care till I was in my 20's, and moved. He, along with Dr. Pont, saved my life. He was, and always will be, in my mind and heart, one of the greats. It was because of him, and his true dedication and compassion as a neorologist, that I did live, was able to have 3 wonderful children, against his best advice, ; ), and lived a normal life. There is no doubt that the world has been, and will continue to be, truely blessed because of his having walked this earth. He has touched so many lives. May you find comfort in knowing he was a gift, and the light he has left behind is a lesson to us all and shall continue to burn.
