Robert La France Obituary

Robert Louis La France January 9, 1929 - December 13, 2006 Passed away at the age of 77. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Diane; children, Laura Sparrow, Lee Ann Wallace, Ron and Bob La France; their spouses and beautiful grandchildren, Christopher, Lauren, Megan, Matthew, Brian, Travis, Sophia and Ava. Born in Hartford, CT, Bob spent his life in California and retired after 33 years in the insurance industry. More importantly, he will be remembered for his love of his wife and family, his passion for skiing, backpacking and fishing. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on Thursday December 21, 2006 at Church of the Ascension in Saratoga, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Parkinson's Institute, 1170 Morse Ave., Sunnyvale CA 94089.

I am thankful to have known such an awesome man. He left many positive thoughts in the minds of everyone he touched. May the God of peace lift you up during this time of loss. Remember this, in spit of his graduation to eternity, this is still the day that the Lord has made, let's rejoice and be glad in it........
