Apparently my post was not appropriate because it never showed up here. I love you uncle Bob. I remember riding in your red convertible car as we went to the circus and I thought you were so cool. I thought you looked like Superman with your dark brown eyes and warm smile.
Rest In Peace.

Bob and I met at Sears San Mateo in 1978. We became friends quickly and enjoyed many racquet ball games and sporting events together. Bob was a great friend, with plenty of good advice, and he always had my back. We drifted apart when he moved to Guam, but I often thought of him, and always will. Condolences to his wonderful family. Gary

Although a year ahead of me, I remember Bob as quality person with a good sense of humor. There is a song title that proclaims "Only the Good Die Young". Bob fits that category.

I first met Bob when he joined Rotary, we became close friends over the many years, sharing vespers almost every afternoon. Bob was an excellent racketball player, beating me like a borrowed mule. A great sense of humor and a really great guy. Rest in peace my friend.

Bob and I knew each other for many years. We would play racquetball two or three times a week in the 80's and afterwards go to the Elks Lodge for a beer or two. He was one of my best friends. I will miss him but our memories are forever. RIP.

I did not know Bob for long but I always got a kick out of his frankness and direct approach. He was a very sweet man and I was always happy to see him. Reading his obituary, I know he's in a better place with his lifelong sweetheart.
