Robert Rosselli Obituary

Robert "Bob" Rosselli, beloved husband, father, friend, and community figure. Born in San Francisco in 1937, Bob attended Sacred Heart High School in San Francisco, where he found a love of basketball. In his early years, Bob served in the military, where his talents on the basketball court led him to play in a military league all over Europe. Those who knew Bob will remember his sharp and dry humor, which was as much a part of him as his warm and generous spirit.
Bob was part owner of the Black Horse Cocktail Lounge in Burlingame, where he formed lasting friendships and shared countless moments of laughter.
In the late 1970s, Bob founded Rosselli Construction, a company that would go on to build beautiful homes in Hillsborough for over 35 years. His passion for his work was evident in the care he took with each project and the dedication he showed to his clients, his crew, and other local subcontractors. Standing over 6'3", Bob was a commanding presence with the toughest and strongest handshake around.
For over 45 years, Bob was married to his beloved wife, Penny, with whom he created a warm and welcoming home. Known for their hospitality, Bob and Penny's home was often the heart of lively gatherings filled with love and joy.
Bob will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. His legacy lives on in the family he loved, the friends he cherished, and the community he served. Bob is survived by his son Tim Rosselli, granddaughter Brianna Rosselli, cherished family and friends. A private celebration of life will be held to honor Bob's memory and the joy he brought into our lives.

I´ve years of fond fun memories of departing for 49er games with my parents and friends from the Black Horse. Bob always greeted us graciously and was the host with the most. My heartfelt condolences to his family
