I had the opportunity to see Bobby Seever skate sporadically on TV -- first as a fill-in for an injured Nick Scopas in '72, then as a member of the Red Devils in '73.

What people told me about him was his wicked sense of humor, which rang loud and clear and endeared him to his peers on the banked track.

Bobby, you're one of a kind. You'll be missed dearly.

Bobby was my Roller Derby hero when I was a little girl growing up in Brisbane. I tried to copy his moves at the strip of sidewalk near my house, wearing my Street King roller skates. Even in high school when I dated his younger brother Dick, I would ask about Bobby. My deepest sympathy to all of Bobby's family.

I was very sadden by the bad news on the passing of Bobby.. Bobby was one of a kind. I had the utmost respect for his talents on the Banked Track and his mischivious outburst's off the track. LOL.. My condolences to the Seever Family.

Dear Family:
My heart goes out to you because of the loss of your father. He is in a better place now, and I know
that he and Bill must be in some
devious project. Know that I am
thinking of you. Dee

To a most wonderful and graceful person. He filled our life with joy through his skating and just being who he was. May he soar with the angels and join the rest of the greats in heaven.

I enjoyed watching Bobby Seever skate in Roller Derby in the 1960's. He was one of the skaters that made the game so great back then. We will always remember you Bobby. My condolences to the Seever family.

As a long time Roller Derby fan, I really admired Bobby's great skating talent. I saw him skate many times and he was often his team's top scorer for the game. He also was a very good referee!

My thoughts and prayers are extended to his family and friends.
