My sympathy and joy goes out to the Shaddock Family, sympathy for your loss of course and my joy goes out to you all for having a great member of your family like Bob.
Of course his opinions will live forever in our minds, and he had many of them too, which he was never selfish to share even when we didn't want to hear them ... And regardless of the message he was delivering it with love and sincere caring for us all, or he wouldn't talk to us at all. What I always saw in Bob was his willingness to help the people who were helping themselves, and his commitment to teaching those how to help themselves. Lucky for me I was one of those who learned how to help myself and others from Bob. I will greatly miss the laughter, the sick and stupid sarcasm, and the general life discussions we shared during the 10 years we knew each other.
I hope I will carry on living the principles I learned from Bob until the day I die, as he did, and not because I want to be like Bob but because I want to continue to give back to others, the secrets of life and how to live it because that gives people real happiness on a daily basis and the world needs more of this these days.
That's what Bob did and I'm proud to have known him. Rock on Bob!
