Robert Torbensen Obituary

Robert "Toby" Torbensen Dec. 11, 1923 - June 17, 2011 Toby was born in Oakland, CA and was a Gunners Mate in the Navy during WWII. He wore many hats; among them, pilot, police officer, and Teamster. He was a resident of Millbrae for over sixty years. Toby is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Leona; sons, Ron and Robert, daughters-in-law, Monique and Diane, and three beautiful grandchildren, Eve, Nile and Oliver. He will be loved and missed by all. We know he's enjoying a "tiddly" with friends in Heaven. Family and friends may visit after 11:00 AM on Monday, June 27, 2011 and attend the Funeral at 1:00 PM at CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS, 194 Millwood Dr. at El Camino Real in Millbrae. Private interment, Pioneer Cemetery, Watsonville, CA. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Lee ,Robert, and Ron ...Our deepest symmpathy on the passing of Tobe...Ron and I have had so much fun time with your family...we enjoyed Tobe and Lee's visit to Bella Vista and Lincoln and they always make us feel special when we came to California...I can;t imagine Tobe not sitting in the garage talking to the neighbors..now I am sure he is organizing a garage get together in heaven , cracking jokes and having fun. Our hearts go out to you in this difficuklt time..Ron and Dianne Krolikowski...Bella Vista Arkansas
