I knew Bob and Mary when they lived next door to me in Sausalito, we had many dinners and wine together, Bob was a true stand up guy, never a cross word. When I found out Bob passed it broke my heart, I will forever miss him as my friend.

Bob and I were roommates for part of his time at SDSU in the 70's, and friends and fellow Grateful Dead fans ever since. He was kind, compassionate and generous. In 40+ years I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. He had a big heart, a big laugh and and a great sense of humor. Bob was the kind of guy who would go into a room full of people who were feeling down, and make a joke about himself to make them feel better. His smile lit up any room. He was a wonderful husband and father and loved and was proud of his family. He was talented, well spoken and erudite but never took himself too seriously. I know it's a cliche, but God TRULY broke the mold when he created Bob.
Bob...gonna miss you buddy.

Deepest condolences and loving sympathy to the Wynne family. I worked with Bob for many years at Miller Freeman and remember his quiet strength, his professional excellence and his fun wit and humor. The world was a better place because Bob was in it.
So enjoyed hiking with Bob and Mary at Joshua Tree this Spring

I didn't know Bob personally very well, but I can attest to what a generous and caring person he was. I always remember Mary bringing the most elaborate and best smelling salads for lunch that Bob lovingly prepared for her. I had also a privilege to eat some of his creations. He was a great partner to Mary and a loving and wise father. My deepest condolences to his family and I will miss hearing about his trips and adventures
Love, Larisa
