Rosaleen Nardi Obituary
02/09/1939 - 11/16/2024
Rosaleen went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family and friends at the age of 85. A SF Bay Area native, she was preceded in death by her parents, Umberto and Ida Nardi and her loving brother, Louis Nardi. She is survived by her dear sister-in-law Nancy Nardi and many cousins both in the U.S. and Italy.
She graduated from San Francisco State and spent 38 years working as an Administrator there. Ro, as she was called, loved to frequent plays and musicals in San Francisco and sang for many years in the choirs at both Church of the Epiphany and St. Brendan's Church. She was a long-time volunteer for the Pacifica Spindrift Players where she choreographed, performed, and was the house manager. When she could, Ro loved to travel.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, December 11th at 9am at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave. in Daly City, CA. A Rosary and Mass will be celebrated at Church of the Epiphany, 827 Vienna St. in SF at 10:30 that same day. She will be laid to rest with her family at the Italian Cemetery in Colma.
Donations may be made in Ro's memory to the Salesian Boys and Girls Club.

Ro and my mom, Sally Sullivan Hunt were friends for years. While I was going to San Francisco State I used to run into Ro all the time. It was always a treat to be in her company and talk about music, dance, plays, musicals, and more! Such a wonderful and warm person in every way.
