July 26, 1912 - July 16, 2014
Born in New York and then raising a family in Michigan, Rose Kampner helped to forge a successful family owned business with her beloved husband, Morris "Moe" Kampner. She continued an active life with her best friend, Sylvia Syrowitz of Florida. She eventually moved to Northern California. A long time member of the esteemed San Mateo community, The Peninsula Regent, she continued a wonderful life filled with friends and loved ones. She is survived by her son, Dr. Stanley Kampner of Hillsborough, many grandchildren and Reverend Jim Briney of Arizona whom she helped raise. A warm thank you to the loving staff of Complete Senior Living of San Mateo. Rose's strong spirit, dry humor and deep passion for life will continue to resonate.
