July 20, 1932-Dec. 01, 2015
Rose K. Presotto, quietly passed at the age of 83. Predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Arthur Presotto. Loving mother to Art, Jr. (Theresa), David (Susan),Kathy LaSala(Sons), and Matthew (Sonia). Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her sister Anita Kelly. Born in Molfetta Italy, immigrated to America at the age of 3 with her mother Rosa DeGennaro, to be reunited with her father, Giovanni. She attended Balboa High School, and married her high school sweetheart Art, shortly after graduating. They began a family and in 1969 moved to San Carlos with their four children. Primarily a housewife, mom belonged to several clubs, loved to bowl, garden, read, dance, and do things with her family. Diagnosed with MS in the early 80's was a difficult challenge for her to overcome, eventually taking her life. It had left mom with a different perspective of life. So many things taken away from her and so hard for others to understand. She was a loving and caring person, that only the ones that were close to her, could understand and sympathize with her. Mom will be missed and always in our thoughts, memories, and prayers. Love to you mom, I know you will be watching over us and enjoying a long awaited dance with Dad. May you rest in peace. Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 10th, at 1:00, St. Pius Catholic Church 1100 Woodside Road Redwood City Ca. Interment to follow at Italian Cemetery, Colma Ca. Arrangements by Crippen and Flynn 420 Woodside Road, Ca.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I have so many good memories of growing up with your Mom and Dad.
Your Mom and Dad are probably having a sweet reunion with my parents.

Dear Art and Theresa,
Robert and I are so sorry to hear of Rose's passing. While it is difficult to lose someone you love and who has been an integral part of your lives, at the same time Rose suffered for so many years with MS that we have to take comfort in the fact that she is now free of the suffering she endured for so many years.
