Ross Bianchi Obituary

Ross David Bianchi 1959-2011 Ross David Bianchi passed away suddenly of a heart attack on Sept 28th; a native of San Francisco and graduate of South San Francisco High School. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary O'Conner Bianchi, and his mother, the late Janice Martin Bianchi. Ross is survived by his father, Roland Bianchi and step mother, Judy Rogers Bianchi, and his two brothers Russell Bianchi (spouse Elisa and daughter Cati) and Randall Stuart. Ross worked as a property manager, in Clearlake, California, and was a skilled wood worker and craftsman, furnishing his home with hand crafted custom furniture. He gave freely of his time and expertise to family and friends whenever a construction project called for his wood working talents. Ross will be remembered by his uncle and aunt, Ray and Anne Bianchi, and their children, Robert Bianchi (Katie), Becky Klinesteker (Colin), Eddie Bianchi (Joelle), Julie Bianchi, and Katie Bianchi, and a host of extended family and friends. He was a loyal Cal football fan and was his father's companion attending most of their home games from the time he was a child. Services will be private. I remember Ross mostly from Southwood Junior High. He was very active in sports and always had a positive attitude. One very nice person! My condolences to his family.

My memory of Ross besides graduating with him was remembering before we became high schoolmates,we met at a judo tournament where we were contestants.I ended up the day with a 4-1 record with my only lose was to Ross.He had pinned me and remember how strong he was. I went on to have a great career in various martial arts but give credit where it's due. It was a great day for him and I,and I'll forever remember that day in which I had the honor of first meeting Ross.

I went to Avalon Elementary School, Southwood Junior High and SSF High School with Ross. I last saw him at our 30th High School reunion. I will always remember him as kind and caring. My deepest sympathy for his family.

Ross you will be deeply missed. Thank you for touching our lives with your humor, your amazing woodwork, but mostly your true love that you shared with your beloved Mary. Tonight when I look at the stars I will see you both shining bright in heaven. We will miss you.

Sending all of you a big HUG from the east coast! I am very sad that I cannot be there to share the tears, prayers and especially the laughter. That is what I think of when I reflect on my memories of Ross and the rest of my California cousins. My times with the Bianchis are ones of great warmth and joy. May that same feeling guide you through your grief.
