My deep condolences to the family.
My memories of Russ will always be:
A ready smile.
A deep laugh.
A dagger-sharp wit.
A search for fairness and integrity in the world.
I am honored to have known him.

Russ and I met in San Francisco when i was put on his crew when I was still
apprentice lineman. (Treat St) I liked Russ immediately because he had lots of patience and a sarcastic sense of humor.. I needed the patience and had the same sense of humor. those two things made it easy and fun to work with him. We became friends and he will be missed.

Russ's passing hit me very hard. He was a truly terrific person. He handled everything with reason, calm, and caring and I was very lucky to work with him at the City of Palo Alto.

I'm Randy Eng retired PG&E meter tech. Russ was a good friend/coworker, he'll be missed by all who worked with him. I knew his mom Alice before knowing Russ, Alice use to come to my late wife Gwen who was a hair dresser for years in the marina of SF on scott street.. Alice was a sweet lady and Willie was a very nice man ( funny).. All three will be missed deeply..
