I met Sheldon in 1969, he was a resident ENT, specializing in plastics at USC medical center. I was a student nurse then and neither one of us had time to spend dating. He was a sweet man.I'm sorry there was so little time to get to know him better. He had a puppy Zeke, I used to walk for him. We all worked hard in those student days.

Wonderful doctor, very warm and caring man. I was his patient in 2013 and I´ll never forget how he advised me on my procedure. He also educated many other doctors. We need more Doctors like him.

Sheldon was one of my all time favorite colleagues. Whether skiing the blue runs, or challenging the golf links or giving me more hair, he was a gem & excelled at all. I treasured the times with him & Marcia. His wry smile & graciousness will forever be my memory. D. Chatham MD

Dr. Kabaker was my fellowship director in facial plastic surgery. He has left such a lasting impression on my life and I´m forever grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from him and be in his presence. He was my mentor, my dear friend, and an inspiration.
Thank you for everything, Dr. K.

More than a boss more than a doctor he was a warm caring and incredibly intelligent man who touched so many lives. I met him at 18 and he forever changed my life. I would not have become the nurse or person I am today without his caring ways. He cared deeply for his staff who easily became his family. Forever my mentor and a father figure in my life! Rest easy Dr K ! Never forgotten forever missed ! - Rosa

So very sad to hear this news. I was his first private scrub nurse and learned his every move during surgery. A kind and caring employer and friend. He paid the tuition for my operating room technician course (although I had to sign a five year commitment ) and also let me work part time while in nursing school. Thank you Dr. Kabaker for the lasting impact you had on my life and the lives of so many others.
Rest in peace
