Sherilyn Dance 76, a lifelong resident of Pacifica, CA passed away on February 4, 2025. Better known as Sheri to friends and the community she is survived by her two children Tara Hatch and Taj Furnari, brother Chris Tromborg, sister Darlene Andris, brother-in-law Harry Andris, sister-in-law Luanne Tromborg, and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Family members include grandchildren; Jonah, Hayden and Elle Furnari and Gabriel and Mathew Hatch, and great-grandchild Kadence Furnari as well as her nephews Greg Andris and Thomas Tromborg III. Sheri was born on June 7, 1948, to Thomas and Lucille Tromborg. She attended Terra Nova High School and was a bartender at Cheers of Pacifica for 32 years. Sheri is well known for her love of animals, community service, Eastern Star, Blue Star Moms, and Relay for Life. She will be remembered at a celebration of her life, which is being planned.

Super Dovee found at cheers bar

Dear Family of Sheri, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I met Sheri some 35 or so years ago through her sister in law Luanne. Sheri was a kind person and we shared our love of animals. Back in 2007 she befriended a White Domestic King pigeon that wandered in to Cheers where she worked and wouldn't leave. They reached out to me to see if I could help, I said. "sure". In the process of learning the plight of Domestic pigeons, I kept Super Dovee and built an aviary. This started my involvement in Pigeon rescue. Super Dovee lived 15 years . RIP Sheri, you are missed.

Sheri was a great person, we all lived together for awhile when Taj and Tara were real young. I remember coming back to Pacifica once a year to visit and I would always run down to Pacifica to Cheers to see her. She will be missed.
