Shirley Fioresi Obituary
January 10, 1941 - July 6, 2023
Shirley Fioresi passed away on July 6, 2023 at her home in Redwood City. She was born on January 10, 1941 in San Francisco to Angela and Salvatore Barrango. She met her former husband Ray Fioresi while at Mercy High school in San Francisco. They were married in 1963 and lived in Daly City for two years. She worked as a secretary until becoming pregnant with her first child in 1965, and they moved to South San Francisco where all three children were raised. She was a homemaker, enjoyed her garden, caring for her rescue pets, and going on tours with their Model A car club. They moved to Atherton in 1981 where she continued to enjoy spending time with her children, granddaughter, family and friends.
She is survived by her three children John Fioresi (Carol), Larae Fioresi, and Jason Fioresi (Carlo Parenti), granddaughter Francesca Fioresi, and brother Gary Barrango (Cheryl). A private service will be held at The Italian Cemetery in Colma where she will be interred.

I just found out about Shirley's passing. I only wish I made time to visit with her the last time I was in California. You always think you have more time. I will never forget her beautiful home in Atherton and her style, grace and class. She was always so kind to me. I will always remember the way that Shirley´s smile lit up a room. Shirley had a way of making those around her laugh, me included! She made my feel loved and part of her family. My Parents Bought our House from the Fioresi´s in South City. Shirley and her family Welcomed us with open arms and became my First Friend when I was 14.
