I love Steve K and his wonderful wife Mrs. Kropog and Steve junior.
When I was young (during the 40s/50/60s my Dad had the Tower Market on Portola Drive just across the street on Teresita from "STEVES'S FLYING A" Associated Service and Gas Station. Steve provided the entire neighborhood with that old time car service that today you only see in old movies. Steve always had a smile on his face and was a total first class gentleman. I will never forget how nicely Steve and his crew treated his customers. Here ran a 1st class repair shop and service station. RIP to Mr. and Mrs. Steve Kropog.

Steve was rthe most loving and kind man one would wnat to meet. I had the extreme pleasure of knowing Steve his pretty wife and very nice son Steve Jr and beautiful wife. I worked nextdoor to Steve's Flying A next to Pommon's Tower Market. My Dad loved him too. What a great man from a great era in this country.

I just learned from, Joel Parker Antrim that Steve passed away. I mentioned years ago to Joel that Steve Kropog was a terrific neighbor of mine along with some great stories and he put Steve in his diary. Steve was one of a kind. I loved that man! Steve Kropog, owner operator of Steve's Flying-A Associated on Portola Drive in San Francisco next door to Pommon's Tower Market. Steve was the kindest upbeat guy that always took the 'high-road'. He always made everyone smile. Steve was so cool! He was also a very dignified gentleman. Steve was kind to all his customers and to my entire Pommon family and especially to Dan and Despina Pommon, original owners of the Tower Market. Steve's terrific staff including Earl and Syl were old fashioned kind-hearted guys that were part of the old American school of kind human beings.

Steve will always be in my memory & my heart. His son, Steve Jr. inherited many of his Dad's virtues. My memory of Mrs. Kropog she is so beautiful and with the cutest smile.
