Dear Marilyn and Family,
Thank you for sharing Susan's beautiful obituary. I learned many things I did not have the chance to know about her and her beautiful children. Please give my condolences again to the family as I think of what to send David.
Thank you again, Marilyn, for keeping us all informed about Susan and thank you also for sharing your beautiful photos and sentiments in difficult times. It was wonderful at Christmas, to see the pictures of David, Susan and their children that you took during happier times. We will look forward to seeing those happy times again after Susan's loss on earth has healed for David, Brett, Bjorn and Krista. And in time we will all celebrate our reunion with her in heaven. Susan is in paradise now, and feeling no pain with her parents and brother. We look forward to seeing her again.
Much Love and many good prayers and thoughts for you, Judith, David, Brett, Bjorn, Krista, Your Children, All Nieces, Nephews Family and Friends.
Respectfully and with Loving Care, Cousin Gayle, Aunt Faye, Cousins David, Mark, Lynne, Amber, Tiger Harris ....and Uncle Bill, who has gone before us to build our great cabin in the sky.

My family was deeply saddened to learn of the sudden death of Mrs, Simundson. She was my now Senior son, Max Perry's freshman English teacher at Redwood. He adored her. He said she was one of the "coolest" teachers ever. Today, he said it will be "weird" not to see her in the halls. He stated she used to talk to him all the time. She frequently attended his games. She was a gift to all of us, especially the hundreds of young people she inspired over the years. It will be a tough loss for Redwood. She is irreplaceable She was a gem!

My sister informed me of the Mrs. Simundson's passing on Friday. Susan was my absolute favorite teacher from Redwoood and continued to be a great friend after i graduated. I feel so lucky that i happened to run into her in marin a month ago and i feel even luckier to have had her as a teacher and a friend. During my sophomore year i made her a mug in my ceramics class and when i saw her last month at Redwood i couldnt believe she still had it sitting on her desk. Just as she held on to my mug, i am going to hold on to her memory and lessons until i see her again. I know many other students will miss you just as much. Lucky to have known you, Tiff

My family is so very saddened to hear of Susan's death. Both my son, Tiff Park, and my grandson, Paddy Marshall, took Susan's english class and and felt such a connection to her. She was so in touch with her students. Tiff(a senior at SDSU) always made a point to visit her whenever he was home. She will be so missed and impossible to replace. Our thoughts are with your family.
