Momma Susan, though I´m not a member of your family anymore, at one point in time I was for 7 great years. You loved me like a son, always treated me like family, gave me shelter when I needed it, love when I felt I didn´t have any. You always welcomed me with open arms. I always loved you and your family. Being part of the Thompson/Lopez family was some of the best times of my life. Thank you for the thousands of memories. Love you tons...... Love Stuart.

Sue, it´s been 11 years since your passing and over 20 since I had seen you last. I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart, I loved you like a son loves his mother. You were a driving force behind the person I am. You were a second mother to me like grandma Dee and Grandpa Joe were another set of grandparents. You took me into your home and your lives and your family. It was the best 7 years ever. I love you....rest easy Momma Sue.....love stuart.

Sue, I can't believe it's 9 years already. I just wanted to thank you for letting me into your family, being a second mom to me, letting me stay with you guys for like 2 months when things weren't going good at home. Thanks for the memories and the love. I want you to know I'm sorry for any hurt I caused the family back then. I was a stupid kid and mad at the world. But thank you for always allowing me into your home, family and heart. I love u and thanks for being so great all those years. Rest In Peace

Memories are wonderful as they live on through all of us. I have fond memories of Susan...my margarita (and champagne) pal; roast beef at Thanksgiving because she really didn't like turkey; watching Susan and Sharon dance at all the family weddings and parties; going out to dinner at her favorite spots where her use of Spanish cast a spell on the bus boys and servers who waited on her as a very special guest.

Susan introduced me to Steven and brought me into this wonderful family. Things aren't the same without her...but she is still with us.

Miss you a lot, especially during this holiday season. Love to you.

I still remember the night we met that began our friendship while at a Mission Dolores dance. The days of the big hair, soul music and real dancing which we loved. My last memory of you will be of seeing you resting while visiting my Mother at Seton Hospital, not knowing you were there. Many of your life events have happened in between all those years and I thank you for making me part of them. My deepest condolences I give with much sadness to everyone in your Family.

I would like to dedicate this poem to my friend of 47 years,
I love you Sue and always will!

Memories

There's one thing in this world
You can get for free--
A heart-warming but saddening
Memory...

All it takes is the time to live it
And then,
The time to go back
And relive it again.

If it's sad, you may cry
for a little while...
But remember it's over
So cheer up and smile.

If it's happy, then laugh,
But remember too
That those days are forever
Gone from you.

Through some distraction
You become aware
That you are here now
And no longer there...

But just close your eyes,
Lean back and relax
And soon beautiful memories
Will all come back.
--Annie Rosales

thank you for being God's next angel & watching over our children
