Suzanne Malik Obituary

Suzanne Angelina Malik

August 8, 1966 - March 29, 2015

Age 48, Suzanne passed away unexpectedly at home March 29. Suzanne graduated from Lowell High School ('84), and attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo earning her Bachelor of Architecture and meeting her husband, John, also an architect.
She spent most of her career in commercial architecture working for The Gap, Williams of Sonoma, and finally The Men's Wearhouse as the Senior Vice President of Store Development. She took joy in directing the construction of flagship stores such as the Banana Republic Store in San Francisco and the just opened flagship Joseph Abboud location in New York City. A committed leader, Suzanne was beloved by her team and always unafraid to challenge those around her to do their best.
Her passion was her immediate and extended family. She was devoted to her two children, Julia and Sabrina, who were a great source of pride. The family travelled extensively visiting Europe, Australia, Lebanon, and many parts of the United States. As the great organizer, Suzanne enriched the lives of friends and family by bringing them together. In addition to her husband and children, her parents Ibrahim and Suhad, brother Fady, sister Nancy, and many, many friends will deeply miss her spunk, smile, and sharp wit.

Friends and family are invited to funeral Services on Monday, April 6th, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Nicolas Orthodox Church at 5200 Diamond Heights Blvd.

I am so sorry for your loss! I ran cross country with Suzanne in high school and distinctly remember sitting on the hall floor and chatting with her between classes; she was so friendly and warm. Our family will keep yours in our thoughts and prayers.
