Sylvian You Obituary

Sylvian "Lila" You
March 25, 1935 - March 20, 2024
Sylvian "Lila" You, 88, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2024, surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Her greatest joy was her family: devoted husband of 68 years, Dennis; loving daughter, Michele Armosino; son-in-law, Jerry Armosino; and her beloved grandchildren, Taylor and Brandon. She introduced and shared her passion for travel with her whole family- a forever gift. Her other daily loves were Tai-Chi, yoga, and good food. Her kind smile and gentle laugh will be remembered by all she touched.
Services will be held on March 28, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. Cypress Lawn Cemetery, 1383 El Camino Real, Colma. Newall Chapel (Across the street from the main office on the right).

Sylvian was a member of the Taiji group in San Mateo for many years. She became a good friend from the beginning of our meeting each other. We knew the same people from SF. Sylvian and I met for lunch every once in awhile and kept in touch all the years until she was unable to meet with me. I miss her beautiful smile, her loving ways, and mostly, her friendship. I will remember her forever.

I am so sorry to hear of Sylvian´s passing. I had no idea that she was ill. She was a wonderful lady, gracious and beautiful in all ways. We met through our Tai Chi class and we enjoyed each other´s company at lunches together. I will miss her. Deanna Fonsworth
