Tanya Cheechov Obituary
Tanya Cheechov beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 12, 2021. She and her family migrated to the United States; and became citizens of this great country. They established themselves in San Francisco, California. Tanya went to San Francisco Polytechnic High School, and then to Skyline College in San Bruno. At a very young age, Tanya was called to serve in the Children's Ministry. She was the leader of the Pioneer Girls Club, for over 20 years, at Church of the Highlands in San Bruno. After retiring from the leadership position, she taught Sunday Bible School. In the later years, she enjoyed visiting family and friends. She will be remembered for being traditional, being a great cook, and having a kind temperament and kind spirit. Her faith in Jesus guided her in her life.
Visitation will begin Saturday August 21 4pm to 9pm with a Funeral Service Sunday August 22 at 12 noon all Cypress Lawn Tiffany Chapel, 1370 El Camino Real Colma Ca. 94014. Burial to follow at the Russian Sectarian Cemetery, Colma
Reception immediately after burial
