Thomas Sutter Obituary
1959-2014
A huge void has left the hearts of Tom's family and friends with his passing on November 1, 2014 at the age of 55. Tom was born to Tom Sr. (predeceased) and Nancy Sutter, the oldest of 4 children and raised in South San Francisco, graduating from El Camino High School, class of 1977. Tom started in the family business "Sutter Furniture" at the age of 15 working for his father and Uncle Ron and eventually took over running the company. He loved the rock music of the 70's, enjoyed playing golf and was a faithful 49er and Giants fan. He was also very active in the SSF P.A.L., coaching little league and the "Colts" with brother-in-law, Joe Freitas. Later in life he loved following his grandchildren in their sports and events. Tom is survived by his mother Nancy Sutter and loving wife of 21 years, Kim, his daughters Christine and Nichole, grandchildren Carlos, Mayra, Sebastian, Iliana and Briana, brothers Steve (Pam) and Doug (Kendra) and sister Sue Freitas (Joe) and 6 nieces and nephews.The Visitation will be at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, Daly City, Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 at 4:oopm with 7:00pm Rosary. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Veronica's, South San Francisco at 10:30am followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.

I remember Tom as a kid. His house backed up to Winston Manor Park. He and his brothers would hang out at he park. I worked there as the maintenance man and would see him daily. I remember his dad would drive home in a red Sutter furniture pickup truck. My sincerest condolences to his family.
