Timothy O'Shea Obituary

Timothy Paul O'Shea
October 15, 1949 - April 27, 2022
Timothy Paul O'Shea is survived by his loving wife Margaret Arent, his sons Timothy, Eoin, Aidan and Tristan, and his stepdaughter Alexandra; his grandchildren Liam, Josephine, Morgan, Finn, and Charlotte; and his siblings Sean, Kathleen, and Patrick. He was a lifelong environmentalist, the co-founder of alternative think tank Lindisfarne Association, director of policy for the Council on the Environment of New York City, and co-founder of CleanFish Inc., a company that vetted and promoted sustainable fishing practices. Tim was a charismatic, creative soul and a man of faith and practice. He will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he touched. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Tim's name to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Having worked collaboratively with Tim for several years on the Board of the French American International School, this news is very sad, but brings up many wonderful memories. Tim was a very engaged member of the Board, a lively and creative contributor to the growth of the school, to its innovative academic program and to the importance of student well-being.
