Trish and I were in the same year-long study abroad program in London in 1979-80. We lived across the hall from each other, shared meals, classes, friends, and spent our month-long winter break together, traveling around England, Scotland, and Ireland. Trish was smart and friendly, and had a wonderful sense of humor. When I think of her, I remember her smile and her laughter. It’s heartbreaking to learn that she died so young. Life well-lived, job well done, RIP Trish.

I knew Trish when she lived in London. I have thought of her often over the years and it was only recently I learnt she died so young. Shocked by her early death I deeply regret not having kept kept in touch with her. I will remember Trish for her kindness and her sense of fun and I have fond memories of the short time I knew her. My condolences to her family and friends who will still be missing her I'm sure.

I didn't know Trish. I learned of her death from a very moving memorial written in the TPL newsletter. As a contributor to TPL, as a Forest Service District Ranger, and as someone who lost my 53-year old sister to cancer 2-1/2 yrs. ago, I wanted to express my condolences to the family. Your sister sounds like she was a passionate person who cared immensely and acted on her beliefs. I know your hearts are breaking. All I can offer is that it gets better with time, and know that your sister in her life has made an impact to make the world a better place. Peace be with you.
